Idle/Temperature Issue

I have a 1UZ in my SWB Landcruiser Bundera and over the past month or so I have noticed that once the engine gets up to operating temperature the idle drops(which its suppose to do) however it starts to run rough and trys to stall. It also if left will stop. I have tried looking for a dodgy wire and attached some more earth straps. Its really starting to annoy me as when 4x4ing it can be a PITA especially since its hard to get going again once stopped:rant:

Any help would be appreciated.

Check the idle speed control for full movement, the bearings/ workings may be stuffed or gummed up at that position. Also check that the throttle is in the closed position and that the closed contact is being made. Sounds like an air thing to me.

Can't find the procedure for the throttle set up but I know I got it from this site.

I also forgot to add that the battery warning light also flickers when the engine is revved

Well I found the problem it was being caused by a bit of heat soak. The Igniters were getting hot and killing the engine.
