Hi everyone,
New to Lextreme, not new to yota's. I need some help. I'm in the final stages of a 1uz swap into a 86 4runner. Ive got a true bastard. 94Ls400 engine, 93SC400 harness and ECU also its a Manual. I have the engine running but I'm experiencing a idle surge. On start it sruges from 1200- 1800 RPM. believe it or not this is an improvement. Initially it idled steady at 3000 rpm, I tested and adjusted the TPS. I have also tested and cleaned the IAC valve. No change. Ive looked for vacuum leaks and found none. Tried 2 different ECU's both have been tested on a friends car.
If anyone has experienced this I'd love to know what you found.
