Hi everyone
my idle varies somewhat high and then low. on startup goes to around 1200, then settles down to 1000. occasionally to 700 rpm. put the car in neutral and the used to stay around 700 rpm, now its idling on and off at around 1200 to 700 depending on its mood, not relating to warming car up or anything.
Ive taken the isc valve out and cleaned the carbon off and put new bearings on the magnet. still not any better.
aI dont hear the click from the isc valve when i shut off the engine, like the lexus manuals tell you, you should here. maybe i broke the isc valve, ive cleaned the contacts also.
any ideas. on a very rare occasion idle drops to like 400 rpm and runs crappy until I get above 100 rpm and then it runs fine. it is strictly an idle problem I think.
