Hydraulic fan pump

Wondering about best option for unneeded fan pump. Just fill it with oil & let it pump back to itself or remove altogether ? Thanks

Regarding vvti engines, you can replace it with similar part off UZS17x Toyota Crown, which does not run hydro fan from factory. p/n is 16630-50011. Don't know if that's applicable to earlier models though.

Second best option is let it pump into itself, that's pretty safe. It has sleeve bearings inside so it would degrade soon without ATF in it. Don't know how to delete it as serpentine belt path needs some pulley near the tensioner

Thanks mate, have decided now to delete the fan pump & aircon altogether, just need to get the belt size for this
