Help with wiring Please

Hi There Im putting a 1uz into a old HR Holden but not sure whats up with the wiring told its easy but in this case not so ecu is a 89661-50380 with the 34p 22p 16p 28p T8-a Plug was told by suppyler that the 28p plug was not needed but from what i have read so far it is important as pin 22,9 and 14 on 28p plug need power could someone please confirm this also have beening looking at the wiring diagrams and cant same to find no black and organge wire that also so needs power but i do have a black and yellow wire mayb theres a colour change somewhere? any help would be big help Cheers Mark

u need all plugs that go into the ecu
do u have them all
if u dont then go back to place u bought it from and ask for them
as they are very hard to find these days

just keep searching and u will eventually find the right diagrams
if u know abit about wiring it is easy
the problem u will run into now is if u do not get the 28 pin plug from the matching car then u will probably not have the correct colour wires

hello Mark.

I have wired that ecu and I had two sets of diagrams each with different colours. I used 7 wires in the 28pin plug and you will need it.

Cheers Guys hopefully have the 28p plug coming have found a diagram that makes sense i belive pins 9 14 and 24 need power also looks like maybe 4 and 5 to would there be any others that i have missed Also looking at diagram looks like there needs to power to a black/red wire to the coils and igniters does that sound right Cheers Mark
