Just picked up motor from importer, its a Celsior 1uz front sump, and upon removal of the lexhaust maifolds I noticed these two cracks in the alloy boss for the exhaust stud. It would appear that is has been overtightened by some tard at some stage.
Picture is of the left hand side bank (right if looking from the front of motor), second exhaust port from the front.
My question is, should I be worried? Are there any water or oil galleries near by?
Should I leave it or weld it? Opinions please.
