HALPP : the big question 1uz or 2jzgte

ayte im in a fix .. a really close friend of mine wants me to giv him my 1uzfe and take his 2jzgte twinturbo + Cash :SSS

should i go for it ?? or should i stick to the UZ

also if i do the swap .. will the JZ come on the UZ mounts or will i have to make some alterations ??

my ride is a 1983 Isuzu Trooper Long Body 3 door .. i have 3-4 days to decide n im really stuck n clueless rite now :SSS

If you where after power then the 2JZ would be the way to go but if I was doing a conversion on a 1983 Trooper I would definately use the 1uz. I feel it would be much easier to fit. Cheers

i already have the UZ in the trooper .. my frands wants me to take it out n give it to him and install the 2jz instead =/ .. i'd prefer to keep the car a daily runner so what should i do =/

Low rpm torque is king...Imo fuel consumption would increase and you'll have to drive it harder..Esp in heavy vehicles, with aerodynamics of a house brick..
Leave it as is..
