I found this (finally)after some time scrounging around in Jeep forums,trying to find anything I could about improving the Aisin Warner trans w/out spending $500 for a basic shift kit.
It looks like a decent solution for the slushy shifts in our cars, and easy enough to just put back again if you ever needed.

I would do that, but it's a nine page thread that basically explains how to shim the accumulator springs in this trans.
