Electronic exhaust cutout

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica]Hey guys I'm looking in to getting a electric exhaust cut out on my 90 celsior with stock exhaust. I'm just wondering if anyone else has got one? I'm looking at [/FONT][FONT=Arial, Helvetica]http://www.dmhperformance.com/ecutout.htm[/FONT][FONT=Arial, Helvetica] and http://www.pypesexhaust.com/accessories.html#01 I've been told that both are very good, anyone know if any better? The cutout will make a LOT of noise when open. Depending on how you install it there may be some minimal power gains when open. I do not know how well they seal and could become anoying if a leak developes.

Those look really cool, I have heard of those once before. But never really actually seen the technology before. I like it, and I say go for it!

Thanks JBrady I did do a search but obviously didn't look hard enough, where in your opinion would you place the cut out as you can get dual cutouts or just have single cutout?

I would get dual cutouts, right after the cat.

Would that sound like **** though? I was thinking getting the dual just before the resonators?

Yeah my 91' LS has a JIC 3'' mid y split into 2.5 and i'd say right after the split, having them right after cats would cause problems. Just an idea but what about mounting after cat but aim outward and run piping out the side of the fender or door. This might be really sick if you have a generous side skirt with some donate able room. Think about chromed out Mclaren type side pipes with switchable rears... then I see a reasonable use for those cutouts.
