Over the last few weeks I have noticed that the car feels down on power and down low sounds very loose and different almost like it had blown a hole in the muffler(but there isn’t). It was driving like that fine and I wasn’t overly concerned and I hadn’t had any time to look into it further. Over the weekend I was out offroading and once it got to operating temp about 80 deg it would not hold idle or the idle it did have was almost off and all the accessories were turning on and off because the engine was basically off. I let it cool down and it went fine again at this point I went home as I didn’t want to have these issues any further into the bush. While I was stopped in the bush I was looking over everything trying to find a possible cause of this when I touched the ecu and it was extremely hot much hotter than my other mates who also has a 1UZ. Another thing I noticed was that the high pressure pump was much louder like it was starving of fuel but this was the first I had heard it since installing the surge tank!.
Any help on this would be great
