I prefer to stay away from those. 
They have all those computers consolidated into a module the size of a cell phone nowadays. All the more reason to stay away from cars like that. I'm convinced that's why all the cars from the 80's are mostly gone and thrown away by now. Seems they were experimenting with plastics and electronics back then which is a bad combination. The only computer I have in my whole Tacoma + 1UZ truck is an Adaptronic which runs like a Timex watch. I drive it everyday. Everything besides the engine management is operated by levers, ropes, cables and elbow grease.
