ECU question

At the moment i've got a fried ECU from a UZZ31 Soarer with 40P 40P 40P plugs the part number is 89661 - 24220. I cant find a replacement but i have found another ECU that has the same 40P 40P 40P plugs but the part number is 89661 - 24411. It's from a SC400 95-97. I know that it'll plug in but will it work???

I forgot to mention that the motor isn't in a Soarer it's in a 4Runner. As long as the motor runs I'll be happy.

drop into yr local toyota dealer
if the new ecu is from similar yeart soarer then i recon u will be right
might be just superseeded

how did u fry the ecu
fix that prob if there is one before u plug in another ecu
where did u look for a spare ecu
they arent that hard to find if you ring the importers
