Hi all, I have a 95 1UZ in my Supra and yesterday the stock fuel pump went up, I currently had it set to run when the ign was on through the fuel pump control relay. I have a Fuel Pump ECU ready to install to avoid that set up of it running all the time, and I was wondering about the FPECUs' ground.
The wiring diagrams show the FPECU and the fuel pump grounding at the same point. So my question is, if the FPECU is grounded separate from the fuel pump, will it still function properly? I plan to test it once I scab a plug from a junk yard car to wrie it properly into my swap harness, but if someone has experience with this, please post info on it, or if you have an opinioin pleas post. Thanks!
