hi guys, newbie here, i have a 93 celsior (japan version) & i think my ecu is busted (89661 50170)... at start-up it fires & revs fine, but after heating it up when you rev it suddenly, it just doesn't want to go up more than 2000 rpm, its like a rev cut limiter, but with slowly pressing the accelerator it revs up... i've change the fuel filter, spark plugs, replace the AFM, replace the fuel pump to a new one... still no improvement, my mechanic says it might be the ECU... what seems to be the problem??? also, i have another ECU from my spare 1UZ (89661 50240) they have the same sockets as the 50170 but it just doesn't want to fire up... is it possible to use the spare ECU? hope you can shed light for me, thanks.
