I have been wiring up alot of VVti 1uz and 3uz and they are factory drive by wire (DBW). What are peoples thoughts on this system. Good? , bad?. I also set up LINK Xtremes with the DBW operating and this allows tuning of the throttle opening relative to the Accerator position sensor. Its great to do the idle speed but is a pretty complicated way of doing this. Would be great if wanting to run antilag. I have other good and bad points but wondering what others think? Cheers

I like old design with cable link. With the new DBW, many cars have issue of throttle going out of whack. This issue is getting very popular with Toyota cars.

My dad's 05 Camry just went out of whack a month ago. He was driving and all of the sudden the throttle went all the way too high to the point that the brake could barely stopped it with the addition of shifting it to Neutral. I haven't heard of any issue like this with the cable link design.
