Well the VIN told me that the engine wasn't a 1996 *sniff*. I don't really care since I would like to boost later on. And hell, I don't have to worry about swapping parts between both my engines. The stronger bottom end is also good piece of mind. Heck the engine is so clean I don't care what year it is =]
