Ok...as far as clutch and flywheel setups tell me if these are the only ones

http://www.1uzquadcam.co.nz/
uses custom flywheel with 3sgte clutch?

for W58
SuperRunner
flywheel & clutch

for V160
TTC / Quartermaster multiplate assembly

for R154?

am i missing anything else?

Personally i'd stay away from the 4 cyclinder flywheel as this most likely would be balanced for a 4..I've heard that they are not right for the lex..(have to slot the holes to even get it onto the lex crank..)
there are plenty of places to get different setups and quality and prices..have a look here

these are from NZ and Aus so freight might be a issue..I'm sure most if not everyone will help ya out though..
I got all my bits from CRS and prices was a little over the top but compared to buying the bits seperatly and putting it together it was just a matter of getting everything from CRS as price was neg and it was a whole kit delivered..had a little drama with it but CRS has resolved it and it's in the post as I write.hope that helps..

By any chance would you know what parts were used on the kit you have, were they for a w58 tranny? It seems like it would be a hybrid of parts that got modified to fit. For example from what car did you get the flywheel and the clutch kit? Thanks.

I would say your correct, in that the clutch plate is off a BJ45 which is a (10"-10.5"or 265mm) and thats about as big as you can get for the size flywheel you can get for it and the bell housing size, again depends on what it is used for..mine is a organic one which(ceramic clutchs are way better but cost $$$$ more)....fingers crossed will hold up the punishment it's going to get..also pressure plate is 1000kg/2000lb's clamping so this should be more then adequate for my application.(you can get more lb's/kg clamping)which is off a Holden 1 ton and are used in a V8 application.
Flywheel's are generally spun out of billet steel or are a combo (2 peice to keep the weight down and also are balanced better instead of using a 4 cyc flywheel which ,generally need modification to fit...again depending on what appication you are using ..for me I needed a realitively heavy flywheel as i'm after torque and not speed for which most guys try using a lighter flywheel..there's a trade off ,also for me i'm goin to be driving 4 wheels and not just 2:nana: .I might have to go ceramic later but i'll just keep an eye on things for the time being.:sasmokin:
Please if anyone can add or correct me then do so..as i'm still learning too..hehe

We have a soarer (SC400) getting a manual in the shop at the moment. I have access to all the parts and we used a new bellhousing with a custom flywheel running a button 3sgte HD clutch. The flywheel came out of my van and got replaced with a 10" chrome moly flywheel which I normally keep in stock running a 10" HD clutch ( same flywheel can run a 9 1/2" clutch not the 3sgte one though). I chose to go back to an organic plate as they are smoother for a road vehicle. It is lighter than a standard clutch and lovely to drive with.
We have used the 3sgte flywheels modifies to the 1uz and had no problems with them either. I also prefer to use an internal release bearing / slave as it make the install really tidy.

Cheers
