Cam sensors

I had my 93 LS 400 put on a diag computer, I was told my cam position sensors are going bad. Is there anything special to changing those out? I called around for the parts and they are fairly easy to get. It looks like it is the housing that the distrib cap attaches to. Does anybody have some insight on this?

Easy fix.

Remove the plastic covers from the distributors and the sensors bolt into the alloy brackets holding the distributor caps.

Unplug the wiring and replace.

Should take around an hour.
