Hey Guys as some of you may know, Chris (Chrisman) from C.M. Racing is building a couple TT 1UZ's.
Chris along with some help from a friend of his, have spent some time looking at other products they can try to build for the 1UZ.
For a while now, Chris has been working with a local CNC shop to try and produce a couple different connecting rod.
I think they are trying to build a stronger stock replacement.
A light weight heavy duty Chromoly rod for some series boost application.
And lastly an all aluminum very strong, very light weight rod for some very series power.
I know that Chris is trying to fit a large connecting rod bolt in the rod, 7/8 vs the common 5/8 that comes in a performance rod, or the 3/8 which I believe is standard in the stock rod.
And I believe the plan for the aluminum rod is to make it as strong, or stronger then a Chevy BB Aluminum rod.
These are things I have heard float around the shop, and don't know what the actual end product will be.
I don't know much else about the rods, I have no idea if they would even be produced, or for sale.
I'm sure if he hears about a lot of interest that might help.

Figured you might like a look at the prototype.
Sorry the picture of the aluminum rod in the block came out Kinna crappy.
