Speaking of book. JBrady and I are working on one. We are gathering info by year to year and model to model. Perhaps anyone have some nice stock V8 cars or trucks we love to put them in our book.

Syd, the Toyota/Lexus NCF (New Car Features) books contain a wealth of technical detail about the engines. Highly recommended.
If you have deep pockets, you can get an online subscription for $350 USD per year and download whatever you want from here: http://www.techinfo.toyota.com/ if not, your best bet is to call these people on the number shown here: http://www.techinfo.toyota.com/public/main/mdc.html
and order the paper copies. They're very helpful by phone, so don't worry if you don't know what you want, they'll step you through it. Just tell them you want the NCF's for all the major Lexus year changes.
