During

So it got new front guard looms for both sides , fuse box removed from the engine bay , all the broken and damaged wires repaired in the cabin, main cabin loom was chopped , changed , and added to for the fuse box and link ECU. All plugs together so it can be removed. Dash was tested before final assembly , check light added , speedo sweeps on key on.

Finished

Wiring finished ready for the vehicles final assembly. Looms all taped and clipped into place. Cabin loom looks very factory, plug each side onto guard looms and plug into rear loom in factory place with the addition of the fuel pump plug. Everything tested and working. Engine fired up first do and ran like it should after a couple of splutters from sitting for a while. Very quick test drive and that went well. The customer is doing the final assembly so i'm looking forward to seeing it all together.
This one down and it all begins again (but much more serious) on a 1978 FJ40 cruiser.

Nice project Kelvin - it's always good to see your work, and you're a real asset to this forum

Looks great. I've been following this forum for a long time getting ready for my 1UZ swap...One question though, your oil filter looks like it sits horizontal on the same plane as the engine. I can't say that I've ever seen one that looked like that. What type of adapter are you using?
Thanks!
