auto shift kits

has anyone see this website and this mod

does anyone how knows abit about auto trannys know what the difference would be between this mod using the shims they recomend

and by sending valve body away to get modified

one is internal mods on valve body the other is shims in the accumulator valves

and it much cheaper mod

In au the guys have someone making shift kits, you can read those reviews on planet soarer, in the US, the best thing we have here is John's IPT performance upgrades for the toyota/lexus transmissions.

yer i know i can send the valve body to adelaide to get it tricked up

will prob do this in next month or so

I have a shift kit on my soarer. It's cool I would recommend it makes the car shift much faster. It takes a few miliseconds with it installed. But, I would recommend the Torque Converter before the shift kit as it gets you off the line faster and the affects of the shift kit can be gained slightly by increasing the throttle line pressure. Torque converter, LSD, Shiftkit.

Agreed. Those my step-by-step after my turbo project is completed. Ask Lextreme. He sells a very affordable shift kit for the SC.

ok cool i might lok at gettin a converter and a shift kit so then with kdogs tip tronic already installled on my car with remote control setup it will change gears faster

just need to sort out the full auto and full manual switching now

I really don't like how the shift kits work with the Lexo's...It really takes away the luxury feel...Have been in Lex's LS400 and you can definetely feel the shift kit working...Something to consider...Up the tranny line pressure and that may help shifts a bit...
