I searched through most of the ATF treads but would like to get a little bit more info on some of the oils and problems. What I've read here:
1. Do not use Dexron III, looks like it makes the gearbox slip. What's the reason for this or is it just an additive in the oil causing the problems.
2. Read transmax Z is a killer too, I see it's full synthetic but I'm not sure if that's the reason
3. Transmax J is part synthetic and some say it can be used.
4 Transmax M - mineral oil ,universal ATF. I could not find anyone trying this, any comments on it.
5. type II and VI, what makes the oil so special?
6. what's the biggest problem with modern oils in the A341, is it the full synthetic oil not working with it, additives in it, etc. I'm trying to see were the problem lies?
