I coded out MAF and air temp control sensors( they are combined in MAF). After diagnosing it says that I need a new ECU.

I sent the ECU to Foreign Auto Computer Repair, Inc. in florida. I got them off the web.

They sent it back and said that they fixed something(leakey acid damage).

I got it back and I still have the same condition. Hard to start and KEEP it running. When running - NO power. Fuel injectors are still dumping in too much fuel.

Any help is appreciated.
Going on a month with the car out of commission..

any history on the car
did it jsut happen out of the blue
or did something happen or someone do work on it
i would try another ecu but try borrow one so u dont waste money
repairing ecus is impossible to test 100% unles su fit it to a perfectly runnign car
since uhad ecu repaired well i never trust the ecu again
i repair some ecus with leaking capacitors and irecon 40 % work ok again
the rest dont make engine run better
so maybe try fit yr ecu in a perfectly running similar car
or borrow ecu
injectors overfuelling badly is either maf or ecu or short in wiring
have u tried runnig it with maf unplugged to see if it overfuels

i forgot to ask what bloody car is it
i would never buy an ls400 or sc400 or similar thats 15 to 20 years old
thats best time that things start to fail so prepare to go thru this many times

it is a sc400 1992.
i changed the thermostat and antifreeze did splash on motor. then it started
then it ran fine for a while . and then it started running terrible again.
 
Problem was caused by a bad coil.

Another problem was I had a Mass Air Flow code and check engine light ,
That problem was caused by a loose connection from the connector to the ecu.

I suggest everyone checks the wires individually at the connection FIRST !!!!
