Just wondering if anyone knows what the std. electric air compressors out of the half cuts flow? preferably in litres/min??

I recently bought a airlocker for the 4Runner and Scott from venom gave me one of the air compressors yesterday, which I'm hoping to use in the setup if it flows enough.

Twisty,

I know the raise the car very slowly but it will run the air locker no trouble.

You could also use it to inflate tyres.

When you look at the compressors in 4b's they are about the same size.

I don't think they'd be designed to run for a long time in any one session as they don't have a lot of cooling fins.

Air locks need approx 85psi to engage but then only need about 40psi to be held in. The pressour switches that come with the arb comps are set to turn on at approx 70psi and turn off at 110psi. As long as its recovery time is ok it will be fine, I`d just try it and see.

Yeah cool as....I've got 3" tube sidesteps that are sealed up with fittings so they can be air tanks, so I was hoping to get a bit of use out of the compressed air. I'll wire it up and see how it goes, but by the sounds of it I will want something a bit faster in the long run.
