For a couple of months I've been tossing up the idea of using a 1uz.... didnt really mind what shell... I was just after using a 1UZ.
But due to close completion of my Rotary Drag Car, I'm looking into building a 2WD Hilux with a 1uZ.
How well would this concept work for pulling a tandem car trailer?
Would it be at all possible to use a Auto box, would it live up to the task of towing?
I'd like to be able to twin turbo (2x GT28RS) or one single (GT40) in the future, just for a bit of fun, as when its not my tow car it will be my only means of transport.
Any starting points would be great.
From what I've gathered in a few quick search's is that I should use a Crown Half Cut. I'd run a microtech ecu. Have no idea about what box... would preferablly like to use an auto.
My starting point at the moment, is a rolling chassis, no motor or box or tray or cab....
So I'll grab a 97'~ model cab, and hopefully work it all together....
