7m gte to ls 400 v8

hi guys. i need info so i can do the swop from 7m gte to ls400 v8.
will the ls400 v8 go in ok or not. just lots of info needed thanks :feedback:

Pretty sure you want to use a SC400. LS400 is front sump and works well for the MkII 82-85 Supras.

if you can find the SC400 motor, you would be ahead of the game. any of them will work, but you need the SC400 oilpan if you are installing it into a MKIII chassis.

i live in the uk so i will get the ls400 1uz i think that is. and get the sc400 sump.
ok what is the sc400 is it the same as the ls400 im not to sure. thanks for your help. any more info would help thanks

Herre, this explains some of the differences between the variants of the motor

When you get the motor, try to get as many accessory items as possible. Both the obvious like PS pump, alt, ECU; and the little stuff like ignitor bracket, bolts, hoses. Hope you are successful, one more supra V8 on the road.

ok what is the sc400 is it the same as the ls400 im not to sure.
