Anyone doing this swap into any Lexus cars? TRD make an intercooler supercharger that will put out 504 hp and 550 lb tq:

wow 125HP increase and 150tq increase... how many psi????

5 or 6 psi and the factory ecu must be retuned.

of that motor can make 500/500 on 6psi i would love to see what it can do with 15psi or maybe 20.

As we speak, we are using a digital tracing of a engine guard. This will definately going to support big HP. Making more then that would need new rods, pistons, engine guards and head studs along with tri metal bearings.

very awesome, I was going to buy an engine off ebay but someone beat my bid by 20 bux about a month ago. I'm still looking for one, and have someone ready to make an adapter plate for the getrag transmission as well!

I personally wouldnt go Getrag. If I would do a manual, I would go for the Viper version of the T56. Here are some updates on the 3UR-FE

Lex I just bought my next supra and I've been thinking of trying this swap. First off will it FIT is the question, the heads are nearly an inch from hitting the strut towers on both sides. But the main concern is the oil pan, sure its mounted at the back of the motor but the oil pan is long and narrow. also the new style oil filters on these motors hangs down like a huge hornets nest and might interfer with the steering rack.

its also hard to find someone that would make a clutch/flywheel combo for the viper transmission to mate to the 3urfe....

I'm personally going with a 3uzfe w/ v160 as its different yet still has parts made up and proven to work.

you would only need to worry about a flywheel, the clutch would be an off the shelf viper unit.
