3UZFE BHP the N/A way

Hello,

I am wondering, if their is a tried and tested fomula to increase the stock BHP from the 3UZFE engine.

I dont really want to break the bank, Ie with an engine rebuilt.

Lets put a Limit of 1000USD to see if it is feasible!

Any ideas, recommendations would be great!

For that kind of money just buy a nitrous setup, and put the difference in an account for a teardown and a new set of rods.

You really can't do much with these engines cheaply.

3uz + cheap N/A = no way jose. Best bet it to pick up a used Vortech supercharger off craigslist for $500-$1000 and run it at 5psi. You'll need piping, bypass valve, Lextreme's adapter plate, and 2 oil lines but should not cost more than $1500 total.


Or just intstall headers + exhaust will yield 20-25whp for about $1000 total.
