1uzfe advance viewing

is there anyway to monitor ignition advance with the stock 1uzfe computer?

i have seen someone use a camera, timing light and a zip ties but i was hoping for a little less crude approach

Use a scan tool and monitor the live data. Timing light on a dyno. Ossilloscope with two channels using one cam trigger and the ignitor trigger.

i dont have a scan tool, scope, or a dyno.

but cant get it to connect to the diagnostic port
