1uz powered buggy

I took a few pics of a 1uz powered buggy the other day.
I had a nice 4 into 1 extractor system and twin throttle bodies.
Dont know what ecu he was running

Not a bad car, 5 link independent rear, lots of fun stuff... tends to shred gearboxes that car!

That's a good idea on the intake. I wonder what injectors and engine management he's using. I wish I could hear it run.

not sure of the injectors, hes running either an M8 or M800.

As for hearing it run, with that exhaust it sounds like an F1 car! prob because it revs like a bastard...

Engine was built in the states for US$15K, or so I heard.

Gearbox was a sequential Graydon manual, but with a stall converter... not sure how it worked but he kept stripping the fins out of the stall. i think its running a rull sequential 6 speed Albins now...

I'm going to run straight pipe on mine with a 3" muffler, no cats. I'll have a flange near the muffler to change out (for long trips) with a brand new Chevy muffler I got off a new Duramax Diesel. I'll put off headers for now as I want a MLS system or equivalent first.

That rig is way nice. It's awesome to see the 1UZ race ready! I like it.
