Is that 1UZ piston out of an early engine, or a VVTi motor?

Guessing it's an early motor because the Toyota Tech info says the 1UZ VVTi pistons look similar to the 3UZ.

Maybe you should have asked if it was the 10.0:1 1uz or the 10.4:1 1uz piston, if thats what you wanted to know, to save the confusion of us simple folk.

I asked if it was a Gen1, I thought that was simple enough.
Gen1 = 89-94 (10.0:1)
Gen2 = 95-97 (10.4:1)
Gen3 = 97-99 (VVT-i)
