There are many ways to fasten these other than threads. Clearance is the question that is causing me pause.

David, How thick is the block before you hit the oil galley? It looks pretty thin (eg no room for drill-tap). This may end up being a pan-head rivot project. Have you had a chance to check crank clearance yet?

If your box is using ground to complete the circuit for spark (like every other EMS I have seen/used), then you will need to run a relay to switch the coil from 5v to 0V. The EMS will control the relay which controls the 5v switchable. The problem is that standard relays will never react fast...

Does anybody have the OD for a 1uz pilot bearing. The crank is behind the mounting plate on my engine stand and I just assume leave it on the stand unless nobody has the number available. thanks in advance
