The wheel threads here are some of the most-viewed on the whole forum but the info is spread across a dozen different posts from 2010. Figured it's time for one updated reference thread.
I'll start with what I know and hopefully we can build this out into something people can actually use when they're shopping.
SC400 stock specs for reference: 16x7 front and rear, +45 offset, 225/55/16. Hub bore is 60.1mm.
What tends to work without spacers: 17x8 to 17x9 with offset in the +35 to +45 range. Anything wider than 9 inches up front usually needs a spacer or you'll have rubbing on hard turns.
Common fitment combos people have run successfully here: SC430 factory wheels (direct bolt-on, looks great), Mustang Cobra R replicas in 17x9 with a small spacer, and various JDM-style wheels in the 18x8.5 to 18x9.5 range with modest stretch.

Any rubbing or fitment issues
A photo if you have one
LS400 owners post up too -- the fitment specs are slightly different and there's almost nothing documented for those cars compared to the SC.
