Most of the time mine runs at around 80 deg cel but when climbing long steep hills and its working for awhile it will heat up. Over the weekend I was only letting it get to 105 before stopping and letting it cool down. What can I let it go to before I need to start worrying

I took mine for it's first off road run to Stockton beach on Saturday. My temp would climb under the heavy sand load when constant to. They have so much heat soak eh....

I still have to try and force all the air through the radiator etc yet, which will hopefully help.

Once you get past 110-115degrees you're starting to ask for trouble.

I've noticed Hilux conversions seem to be a little light on for radiator size.

You can't have too much radiator in a 4x4. A thermostat will keep it warm but a small radiator will never cool it.
