I'm only talking the new gen stuff....light, efficient wheels and well designed housings with great features. Stick a TIAL turbine housing on a garrett and it becomes acceptable but BW are the current king in small and mid frame turbos.
i dunno, i think Precision is shitting on anything out there at the moment. alot of racers in the drag scene are moving to Precision. don't get me wrong we run a BW S480 on our 2JZ and it's awesome especially over 34psi we were picking over 40rwhp per psi, pity we only went to 36psi![]()
The new generation stuff is in a different league altogether though. So not the AirWerks series, which also look good but other options are perhaps on par, but the EFR series which is streaks ahead of anything else out there.
For a streeter or track car needing response, you'd be mad to go with anything else. new generation aerodynamics on the wheels, the alloy/Ti material is lighter and stronger than anything else out there. The integral WG design is by far the best i've seen with a good V-band housing. The comp housing has integral BOV, comes with boost solenoide already and has facility for a speed sensor...really really impressive stuff. And to top it off the prices are very competitive...add the extras that are included and i don't see anything else out there in this league?
they probaly all work, if sized correctly

I am VERY interested to see how durable the BW titanium-aluminide (Gamma Ti) turbine wheels will be. Go to page 43 on this PDF link: very nice internal gates.
I will have rods, pistons, rod bolts, main studs, head studs and a few other goodies. It is my dd but I wona make some good power. I'm lookin to spend up to 9k.
Well it should be. But befor I could my girl got transfered. So it was a small set back. And also. Ttc. Started getting some realy bad press. So that kinda made me think twice befor I pay 3k for there rods and piston combo.
But I see lex makes a kit so I may just do that.
If I can just get the rodes and everything I can just bump the shot up untill I find the best way to boost it
Seems they get a little fragile around 500 rwhp..What will the stock pistons hold
For aroud 3k a good bottom end should do me fine. Then just do a log styl manifold. And hope for the best
