If you need some guidance with that wiring, just let me know.

I see you're in Japan... I really need a set of wiring diagrams for a '96 Hilux 1KZ-TE KZN185 chassis. Do you think you could help? I'd be happy to trade with some wiring expertise.

see what i can dig up for ya

can you give me a parts list of what plugs other ecu's or any other parts i need to get out of the doner call the guy that ownes the shop wants it gone

Yeah I can take care of it for you, I need the complete 1UZ harness and the original engine harness for whatever vehicle you're putting the engine into. That conversion is $450 plus shipping as long as you have both complete harnesses. You can send them to the address listed right on the front page of my website:

Let me know about those diagrams too!

im upgrading the harness inside the jeep at the same time. can i send you the new chassie harness still in the box? what about the seperate 40p plug is that all need to cut out of the car, or is there more? or will most of the wires in this plug rewire into the 40p plug. im on a realy tight bugdet but it might come your way thanks for all your help what is your turn around time?

im hoping to start the wiring by the end of next week. my ? is can i leave the tranny wire in the harness so i can go to auto tranny sometime down the road. if so how do i wrap and stoe the wire.
next what far as stuff to strip out of the doner car do i need to look for and take before i junk it? the tranny is controlled by the ecu that i have right?

dose anyone have the pinout of this plug im down to doing the wiring and the fuel system and drive shafts and is there a site that has the pin outs of the 340 tranny and conectors some where

u need the fit the rear speed sensor on the auto when u mod it to the transfer

thats the outputshaft speed sensor

u do not need the seed signal form the dash it will bring up a code but u dont need it for it to change gears properly

u dont need pin outs for the tranny

only wires on that connector for the tranny are power for solenoids on engine and auto and idle motor

and the inhibitor wires

all the other wires for the auto go directly to the ecu

afew wires goto air con so cut them out and some are the ear indicator lights so cut them out tooo

well its been a long time, but i just started the wiring on the jeep. i have3 all the wiring diagrams from here(at least i think i do) Been working on it for 4 days now but no start. is their a diagram that show where the wire go or hook to im afraid to of burning up the ECU if i haven't already. is there any new wiring on this ECU

well check the basics
power to injectors
5v at tps
is the check engine light on this will tell u easy way if ecu is actually on

u should understand how wiring works before u start sdhit like this
even with diagrams alot of people still cant get thru it because they dont understand how relays and stuff work

4 days is not to bad
when its gets to 2 weeks my customers usually give up hehehhe

anyway what have u done
what has power
check the diagnostics if u actually know how

check for spark
check for inj pulse

atleast try to do some diagnostics before posting a qeustion that can have a thousand answers

Hi, I have a 1UZ wired into a landcruiser and it won't kick over. Just curious if there is any glaring problems with what I have wired before I go pull my hair out faultfinding.

Some background.
1. I have searched these forums for over 2 hours to try to find my mistake(s).
2. I have a ***220 ECU. 40/40/40 pin.
3. I have hard wired the fuel pumps in temporarily to a switch. Will change this later when the engine is running.
4. Engine has an UNCUT loom, so i'm assuming all the sensors etc on the engine are correct as they're as per factory.

Ok, this is what I have done so far.
* +12V wired to pin E9-33 (BATT)
* Pin E9-24 (M-REL) drives the Main EFI Relay.
* E9-31 (+B) and E9-32 (+B1) both get 12volts when the Main EFI Relay is switched.
* Main EFI Relay appears to be working fine.
* Pin E10-4 (E11) is grounded.
* Pin E10-65 (E2) is grounded.
* Pin E10-79 (E02) is grounded.
* Pin E10-80 (E01) is grounded.
* Pin E10-77 (STA) gets a 12volt input from starter relay when the engine is cranking.
* Pin E9-1 (IGSW) gets a switched 12volts from the ignition switch.

Do I need to do anything with the Neutral Start Switch?

I plan on following this post by cuh8er to see if it helps but have some questions

Do need to wire in a check engine light?
What else do i need to wire in from the 40 pin plug im using an auto tranny but no traction control?
Pin E10-77 (STA) is already run and uncut in the harness is it getting 12v already or do i got to tap into it to give it 12v on cranking

well after about 5 days of wiring and endless night on the net look for wire diagrams and drowning my frustrations with Natty Light, i got the whore running. now i got build my relay board tidy up the wires and have it done so i can move on to getting it road worthy. i still have to plum in the mass air flow and put in o2 sensors.
here is a video sounds nice considering i made the headers. its got 2.5" 28" long summit glass packs on it

and i got to give a lot of thanks to cuh8er and his post it was what fix all my problems. fired right up if you have a 40/40/40 harness and ecu read this post
