Vvti turbo??

Hi going to be turning my 98 vvti.
have a hx35 turbo
Going to be running a 44mm Wastegate at 6psi and a piggyback ecu
Just looking to get the set up right before I send the engine off to get pistons and rods. Has anyone Eny experience with turboing the vvti.
not shear how far to push the vvti.
any tips to help would be great.

I don't have first hand experience with vvti but from what I've heard, 6psi should be safe on the oem rods but don't push it much farther without upgrading them. If you are going with thicker pistons/rods then you have plenty of room
