bolting on a single turbo, what would be a better appliation to go with?

vvti or non?

how much can each motor support bone stock?

anyone think of running an HKS T51r SPL or KAI with the 1uz'fe's?

Depending on which year 1uz you have. Earlier yrs. 92-94 have thicker rods which can handle a lot of juice. If you go with the vvt-i 98+ you'll have a good hp base of 290hp to start off with, but you wouldn't want to run too much boost. It also depends on your power goals.
