VVTI Piggyback help ?

Has anyone run any of the Piggy Back ECU's on the 98 up VVTI motors with any luck ? Like the Unichip or SMT unit ?

Here what I am trying to find out. I am about to pick up a 99 SC400 with the VVTI.

I have heard that the VVTI does not respond as good to changes like A/F adjustment and Timming advances. I am a little torn between the Unichip and the SMT or any other that works. Wondering if any one N/A motor has run any of theses on the VVTI with luck.

go with the srt intake with ecu built in, its dyno proven and no tuning require. No worry on the install, no tuning fees, and you get intake and piggyback combined in one deal. Only complaint i have heard is the intake is noisy. If you go this route let us know how it turns out. Also a good 24rwhp or 30hp at the crank, that's excellent!
