So you obviously need to make a new loom too? Or an adapter loom to tun the HKS unit? If you can get capable fuel management for under $1000 you are doing etremely well, even if its used.
Alright, I'm changing my goals around just a little bit.
700rwhp @ 14-15psi of boost on 93 octane gasoline
800rwhp @ 18psi of boost on E85
1000rwhp+ @ 30psi of boost on E85
8000RPM redline
200mph+ Top Speed
1.0+ Lateral Gs cornering
And here's (supposedly) how I'm going to accomplish those goals:
Forged pistons and rods
ARP everything
10.0:1 static compression
Possible VVT-i
Internally balanced assembly
Street ported head
Upgraded springs and retainers
2JZ Ferrea Valves, +1mm oversize (making it +1 intake, +2 exhaust)
Upgraded cams (choice of either billet or reground, as reground are half the price) (reground VVT-i if I can find heads for a good price)
Twin Turbos (choice of either T3/T04S 60-1 .48-.63 A/R or GT35R)
180 degree turbo headers (custom)
Dual Exhaust (Custom w/cat retention)
Custom intake
3 core intercooler (possible V-Mount, but no decision on that yet)
COP conversion (Camry coils)
1600cc injectors
Aftermarket ECU (currently choosing between either an Autronic SM4, LinkPlus G2, Wolf V500, and Hydra EMS)
Other things I'm considering doing:
Stroker crank
Tundra re-sleeve
I figured since I may only get to do one of these, I may as well up the ante and do it all right all at once. I'm adding some things like VVT-i and E85 for fuel. Yes, it will be complicated, yes, it will be over the top...but why not? You only live once.
Anyhow, I'll get back to this project (other than research which I do all the time) once I get a break from school. If you have constructive input, I do not mind you sharing it here. Thanks.

That list should do the job, your biggest hurdle is the crap fuel you get there. A few points: Downsize your injectors as they are massively too big, i have over 500rwhp with around 500cc/min and they still have more safe flow in them.
At that rpm and probably boost level (worked out what you'll need to run?) block integrity is gonna be a real concern. I have been looking into a crank girdle to help stiffen things up but i am stuffed for room. I think it's gonna be the block that will eventually limit me.
It's gonna take careful assembly and putting all your parts together well for the motor to last. Seriously look into upgrading every aspect of cooling for both water and oil.
Don't skimp on anything either as the numbers you are chasing will take the best quality parts in all aspects to work.
Good luck, and hope it comes together soon so we can drool over the result![]()
