Ultrasonic Vibrating Mirror

Guys,
I am informed that these are removed from the cars when inported to Australia to comply.
If this is true ? find a person in your area that complies these imports and ask him.
Who knows, you might even be able to get one off of him ?

I couldn't find anything on them when i last looked.

The ultrasonics are intended to vibrate the mirror and stop rain adhering to it. To my knowledge they are left on the cars as the movement is so slight (read not visible) it would not affect visibility.

Some cars have it and the units are stunningly expensive.
