Turbo 5.7L Tundra?

The stock 2007 Tundra is recorded at 381 bhp which is about 340-350 rwhp with close to 10:1 compression ratio. Anyone brave enough to put a single turbo in there? That would be the baddest truck on the planet (beside Wayne's). I think it can go head to head with Ford Lightening (unmod) or the Viper powered truck (unmod).

What do u guys think? Is this Lextreme or what?

I drove the 2007 Tundra the other day. I was thoroughly unimpressed actually. I don't think it's putting down anywhere near 350 to the wheels. At most, 250-280. I think that some transmission work would be needed before touching the rest of the powertrain.

I think there are 31 different trims. Perhaps the heavier trims might seem to be slow. The new models are not cheap either. It range from $23,000 to $49,000. I wonder who will be the first to turbo one of these babies.
