Trottle cable mounting help?

The 1UZFE EGR Delete Kit is available for sale here.
I see the problem...Oooops my bad......

How about lengthening the cable to fit and attach?...An extension of sorts...Surely they make cable connectors for this type of problem.. I would think a two way cable clamp of sorts would do the trick to lengthen and connect both ends... I think I saw them on Ebay before for like $5....

Anyway, here is a link that may help shed some new light on your problem... Looks like these guys on this forum made some custom stuff happen...

Easier to just go to a salvage yard and get a GE cable cause it works.

Well if there is a perfect fitting used throttle cable system out there to be had(GE) then absolutely get that, end of story....

It's not long before I will be faced with that same problem I am sure.... I Would love to see some of the different successful fabbed throttle cable connection jobs, and all the different throttle cable connectors, etc... I am sure many hotrod enthuisists run into this problem all the time when swapping out motors in their cars... So what do they do? This is actually a good topic...

Jibby, I thought about the cable clamp as well since I have the cut portion and could just used the protective outer sleeve to cover it back up but haven't found the correct crimp yet that would work. Asking around local shops being as there are numerous hotrod guys around here. For now I may just end up going with Chris's suggestion as it may be quicker...already have a message in to Dr. Jonez since he is local to me to see if he has a spare laying around.

However, I do agree, this would be a good topic, especially for those moving to a different intake (non-vvti to vvti, side to front facing, double TB's, ITB setups etc).
