Tri Turbo Supra.......

Looking for Lex parts I came across this beast built by Rob Johnson at Intense motorsports....It is a 1997 Supra and has a custom built 650bhp three turbo setup going on under the hood of his Supra......When asked why did we build a three turbo'd Supra their reply was "because we can"...I've heard that saying somewhere before...:006:

yes but there's 16 cylinders to feed.

Boy... all those turbos.... It would be a diagnostic nightmare. Cool engineering but what a waste of time and money.

Worst part is that it only makes 710hp and 730 ft lbs torque (on 13.5psi).

P.S. It's an LS1.

That's nuts....Now eight turbo's that is serious overkill....Someone had too much time on their hands and too much money...

710hp with eight turbo's on an LS1...Not that good!!!

That's precisely what I was thinking. The LS1 can make huge power NA... With the amount of money dumped into that for an "It can be done", he should have well over 1K horsepower.
