Trans. I.D. please

Hi, can anyone id the trans I have in my hilux ? The truck is a 1995 single cab 2.4D 4x4 with 5 speed and solid front axle. Chassis tag says model LN105RTRMRSW
1960L11G252G58.
Is the trans I've got going to stand the berries from the 1uZ ?

25 = 4.556 ratio
2 = 2 spider gears or open diff head
G58 = I would think so..it's just saying that you have a manual..

1960 = engine displacement
L11 = interior type and colour
G252 = diff type and ratio
G58 = gearbox = which is basically a W58.

Gbox will be fine as long as you dont try to break it.

Toyota hilux boxes labelled as G52's were weaker than the W5* series boxes
They appear to have the selector mechanisim on the opposite side to the W5* boxes.

some of these G series boxes had a PTO on the side.

a friend used to break alot of them with his P76 V8 which was 4.4" english pushrod V8 for those who do not know.

they are weak, but easily replaced with the W5* unit and the bellhousing bolt pattern is identical.
