Does anyone know if the TPS is only activated when the eng is warmed up? I think I may know why my vvti 1uz eng runs smoothly when it's cold, but idles erratically when it's warmed up.
Here's my guess on what happened, while changing the timing belt, I pushed open the throttle valve by hand and cleaned out the bore, I think by doing this put the TPS out of adjustment which is why I'm having the idling problem only after warm up, does this make sense? If this is correct, then how do I readjust the TPS. Thanks in advance my friends.
