Torsen v TRD

Does anyone know anything about the TRD diff?
I plan on buying a torsen diff for my SC400 but have been recently told about a TRD 1.5 way diff, apparently their really tuff.

Tougher than a torsen that's for sure. After having smashed one to pieces i ditched my torsen for a TRD clutch style. Would never go back, not only stronger but way more positive and predictable.

Torsen is short for torque sensing, as soon as you unload a wheel there's no torque and it reverts to a single spinner. If you have stiff suspension this happens quite a bit.

i also have a trd diff , dont know how tuff they are as its only done about 1000 miles , i would suggest you drive a car fitted with one if you can , my diff is slightly clunky when turning tightly such as parking , other than that i have no complaints
