Supra standard transmission in an LS400

I've been doing some reading and have been thinking of taking out the 4speed auto and putting in a supra transmission instead. Has anybody got any advice for somebody who wants to give the 1UZ the joy of a standard? Like what year of supra should i look at, or if you feel there is a better transmission available, what would you use?

whats your price range and how much torque are you planning on making?

i too have questions about this, i know it is possible to do the swap, but cannot seem to find anyone that has actually done it.
from what i know there may or may not need to be some ECU/TCU mods done in a ls400 for a 5spd conv, just depends on wether or not the ecu requires the signals from the auto box.

my real question on it is how is the fitment inside the car? shifter location? i would assume (we know what happens when we assume) that there would need to be some sort of mod done to the shift linkage , maybe a remote mounting or something like that
