does any one know of a blower that will fit on an american sc400 becuase all ive seens is AUS ones and ive read they wont fit.

M90, M112, Whipple 2.3, Vortech, ATI, Powerdyne and few more. They will all fit into the SC400, but you will need alot modifications to make it work.

After checking for the dimensions between the M90 and M112, I think the M112 is a better choice. These have similar dimensions, but the M112 also has more hp capability plus the elbow facing the throttle body, which can save us time to fabricate one.

what particular mods need to be made to have it work. and i was wondingring about kits not fabrications, do you know of any?

Lextreme,

You are patially right. There is one company that won't sell a kit w/ supercharger due to legal issues. However, there is another company in Australia that will sell a kit INLCUDING supercharge. However, it isn't recommended due to weight and shipping charges.

And to the original poster,

There has yet to be an documentation on an Australian kit fitted onto an American car. We know that their is no EGR on the Japanese V8 Soarer and that will have to be modified. However, there are numerous other unknowns and so far no one has decided to take the risk and make it public.

That could be true due to legal issue. However, I think Lextreme has a source that can fabricate the bracket for the centrifugal supercharger. If the Vortech is a little too big for the SC400, then Powerdyne or Paxton would be better for fitment. But I'm not really sure about fitment. I guess you can bring the supercharger to Lextreme for test-fit and fabrication.

I would like to find out which company u mentioned sell a kit including supercharger. Even then, it might not fit US Version. No one in the US have installed a "KIT". Therefore we can not assume it would work.

Right now a kit form is NOT avialable. Australian companies have clauses that they can not sell to US.

If you know something I dont know, then i would be willing to learn more. However, I would like to be enlighten if you can find me the OTHER Company sell a kit with a supercharger. Once again, since I am not an engineer so I dont know everything. Love to get your input on it.

Since there are only 3 official commercial kits available from the Australians and only 1 company has said they cannot ship a supercharger due to legal issues, it isn't hard to figure out who is able to ship their entire kit including supercharger.

My information is current until 4 months ago when I received a price quote including supercharger shipped to New York. However, like I said above, it is cost prohibitive to ship a heavy supercharger from Australia to the United States when a unit can be had for cheaper locally.

Hmmm... that's a good idea. I like the fact that the centrifugal does not have to take up a bunch of room on top of the intake manifold. I am sure I would also enjoy the powerband too. :)

Now I just have to decide whether or not I want to go N/A or centrifugal SC.

I need the company name, website and contact number. I would like to find out. LINKS please....
I've recenlty found this shop on Ebay specializing in fabricating centrifugal supercharger for any Lexus. They asked $1500-1800 for their bracket and their brand new supercharger with the brand of JET supporting up to 1000 cfm or 15 psi. I guess they're kind of new. They can also build a complete system. They're in Sun Valley near L.A. and Orange County. Phone number is (323) 683-8027. Just go to Ebay and type:7978374505, then it should pop up. I believe this Ebay item won't last long because it's already been there since June. So if you want to contact him, then either call him or get his email address now. If anyone is willing to do this, then please just let us know how it turns out. It would be really even nicer if we can get a Group Buy from him. Anyone?

Man.... China is making supercharger now..... Honestly from my experience, I would not get anything less then a ATI D1SC or Whipple 2.3L. I dont trust that China Made Jet Supercharger.

Uhm..I didn't know that supercharger is made in China. For serious stuffs on cars, I wouldn't choose China stuffs. Honestly, I don't mean anything so please no offense. It's just experiences.

I think Bullet cars will ship to the States.

Has anyone tried buying the complete kit less the supercharger itself.

Talk to Tom at Bullet he's a nice guy and will do what he can.

Where can I find the info. on those Bullet cars? Is there any website to look at?

Their website looks nice. However, I prefer more of detailed products that they carry on the web. As you know, we're just lazy to call in sometimes, but prefer to look at them before taking action. But if they come to the U.S., then that'll be great.
